When topping up your MuchBetter account with a credit or debit card, you will now see the option to choose how the funds will be used; for gaming or non-gaming transactions. Depending on your choice at the moment of the top-up, the funds will be put in a separate balance.
Your gaming balance is a subset of your total balance. Only funds from the following sources can be used for gaming transactions:
-Transfers from merchants
-Top-ups from cards (where the purpose is gaming)
-Top-ups from non-card methods
-Peer-to-Peer transfers, in and out (funds sent or received will be applied to the gaming balance)
Any balance that is not part of your gaming balance, can be used for purchases with other merchants, for purchases with your MuchBetter card (customers registered as residents of the EU) or peer-to-peer transfers.
Note: Any funds you send to another customer (peer-to-peer) transfers, as mentioned above; will go to their gaming balance. And the same would happen to your balance if you get a transfer from another MuchBetter user into your MuchBetter account. Contrarily to the P2P transfers with others, any funds transferred to yourself by P2P will not change the balance purpose.
