Interac e transfers may be applied to your account within 5 minutes to 3 hours, but it can take longer if the reference is missing or wrong. In most cases, this is done within 12 hours.
To ensure your transaction is processed and credited timely; please, ensure all deposits are initiated in your MuchBetter app, by entering the exact and unique (one-time) reference we provide every time, in the "message" field and completing the process within 24 hours.
To locate a missing e-transfer, please provide us with the Interac confirmation number to locate the transaction. This typically looks like this:
CA***** (where ***** are 6 numbers/letters)
You can get it from:
- Your email. Interac sends an auto-deposit confirmation email for all successful e-transfers. If your e-transfer is showing as auto-deposited or completed, you must have received this email. Please check your spam folder and your promotion/update categories in case it is delivered to one of these inboxes. You can also try searching for Interac.
- You can request it from your bank. They can contact Interac directly and request it from them if needed.
