If your purchase has been successfully authorized (check this article to find out more about it: Transaction was rejected but money taken from my account?), the transaction amount has been put on a temporary hold. During the authorization hold, the money cannot be spent as we need to wait until the merchant finalises the payment status by charging your card or declining the purchase. Please know that only merchants can void the transaction (cancel the authorization). This means that you need to contact them directly in order to request a payment cancellation.
