Your payment information is encrypted and stored on secure servers by Google Pay. Additionally, you can set up a special screen lock to make contactless payments and you are forced to either use your device's passcode and/or biometrics. In addition to that, your MuchBetter card has great protection features implemented by us! You can, namely, freeze your card in a few seconds directly in your MuchBetter wallet. Just log into the app and head over to the “Card” section. Here you will be able to block your card by freezing it. This is a great feature in case you lose your card or if it is stolen. If the card is frozen, nobody will be able to use it. Unfreezing the card works the same, just tap “Unfreeze” and your card is ready for next payments.
Remember that while you can use Google Pay to pay with your MuchBetter card, you can manage your card and settings directly in your MuchBetter app.
Note: The use of MuchBetter cards and wearables is temporarily out of service. Unfortunately, MuchBetter cards or wearables cannot be activated in the app for now, nor used for purchases or ATMs. However, you can keep it with you safely and we will confirm when you are able to proceed with activation or its use.
