Verifying your address is a crucial step to ensure that your account information is accurate and up-to-date. This process helps maintain security and provides you with the best possible service. Additionally, verifying your address is required to enable services in some locations and to order MuchBetter cards and wearables where available. Here’s how you can do it:
Accepted Documents: You can use any of the following documents to verify your address:
- Utility bill (e.g., electricity, water, gas)
- Bank statement
- Lease agreement
Common Rejection Reasons: Some of the most common reasons for rejection include:
- Unclear or blurry images.
- Cropped or incomplete images.
- Address and/or personal details not visible.
- Outdated document (issued more than 3 months ago).
- PO Box addresses are not considered valid proof of address.
- Mobile number phone bills are not considered valid proof of address.
- Statements from online services such as Revolut, Monese, Neteller, Skrill, or other popular e-wallets cannot be accepted as proof of address.
Submission Options: You have three options to submit your proof of address:
- Upload a PDF copy of your proof of address directly via the app.
- Take a photo of the original proof of address document and upload it directly via the app.
- Send your documents via email to support@muchbetter.com (screenshots of the full document, PDF files, or photos of the original document).
Rejection and Verification Timeframe: If your document is rejected, you will receive an email explaining the reason for rejection. Please ensure that your document meets the requirements and resubmit it for verification. Once you submit your proof of address, our team will review it within 1-3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your address has been successfully verified.
